The front standard of the Wista 45 Camera is the front section of the rack and pinion Support Rail. The Camera Support Plate at the rear has a micro drive device with rack & pinion in the lower stage and a Quick Mount Device used as the upper stage for fast positioning. Camera movements are versatile: rise, shift, swing and tilt (center) in the front and rear swing and tilt (base) in the rear. The Basic Rail is 7,8" long and can be extended up to 11,8" by extending the camera plate. 90-300mm lenses on a Wista/Linhof lens board or a Leica mount enlarging lens can be used.
For example a 50mm enlarging lens allows not only up to 5x zoom and close-up focusing, Even with a 45° angle to the without using small apertures so It is very convenient for quick shots.
Professional accessories are available including a Panhead for shooting vertically, wide angle bellows and a 6*9 back.
Adapters for all 35mm SLR or DSLR cameras and most medium format focal plane shutter cameras can be converted to a 6 x 9 camera.
